way back in 2009 i came up with this idea for a comic called tallow & soot about jim and me and a little talking kitsune. there’s much more to it than that, but it’s probably pointless to really explain the whole story, since i’m sure i’ll never get around to actually drawing it.
i’ve drawn this little scene three times (maybe more) since ‘09. i’ve misplaced the original unfortunately, so i can’t share it.. but i do have one from 2010 which can be viewed on my tumblr! i wanted to redraw it tonight to see what the characters might look like if i attempted to finish the comic now.

I remember when you first told me about this and how you described it and seeing the original sketches. No you can't pet that filthy thing stay away from it!
